CROWD FARMING Asylum Seekers Resource Centre and 3000Acres collaboration.
When: Sunday November 12, 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm
Tiny Trowellers, it's time to plant out a food garden to benefit the Melbourne refugee community at Footscray's Inner West Veggie Patch
3000Acres have secured the vacant land, and the ASRC have 1/3 dedicated to growing food for their refugee clientele.
Do you have seeds, compost, worm bins, herb plants, veggie seedlings or fruit trees? Any donation would be happily received to plant into developing an ongoing food source. Can you come along for the day with gloves, boots and tools to plant out the garden? Parking is readily available in the local streets, and the Middle Footscray train station is pictured adjacent to the property. https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/stop/view/20024/
